Duck Hunt

Wilderness Unlimited (WU) has offered us this spectacular hunt on their property. We will be hunting from three-person blinds. Two women will hunt with a guide and a dog. We have all of the equipment - guns, ammo, waders, and boots. You will need a California hunting license with a duck stamp. This is a unique opportunity to learn to duck hunt in one of the most waterfowl populated areas of the central valley.
There is nothing quite like being in a duck blind as the world around you wakes up and starts to move. Just as the sun starts to rise you'll become aware of the beauty all around you. The sights and sounds are truly unique to this experience.
We will arrive at the club house on Friday for dinner. It's a time to get to know each other and our guides. We will be outfitted with our equipment and discuss safety practices, laws and regulations, hunter ethics, waterfowl identification and the schedule for the following day.
Overnight accommodations are available at the WU RV park. If you prefer to bring your own RV, there is room to park. Or, if you prefer to go to a hotel in Williams, your guide can pick you up there.
You will want to sign up early for this hunt. There are only ten spaces available.
Workshop Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel three weeks or less prior to the workshop date, you will forfeit 100% of your registration unless you provide a replacement, or someone on the waiting list accepts your spot.
Print out a flyer and post it in a place where women will see it and have the opportunity to register for the workshop! Your gym, local sporting goods stores, etc.
This is one of my favorite BOW clinics. The whole clinic is full of great information and the club house has a warm, cozy feel. Dinner is always delicious and it's a wonderful opportunity to meet other gals who enjoy waterfowl hunting.
It's the perfect time of year to enjoy the beauty surrounding this particular area of our state. And, watching the dog work is such a bonus.
