Find out why more and more women are taking up the thrilling sport of shot gunning. Range masters Cherel and Scott McCracken will instruct you in firearm safety, types of ammunition, getting a good fit, and cleaning and maintaining your shotgun. You will get lots of practice breaking clays. This class is for you if you are considering taking up shooting as a hobby or if you are interested in hunting.
This course will help prepare you for your Hunter Safety class. All shooting equipment (shotguns, ammo, safety glasses and ear protection) and lunch will be provided. Last year there were several gals who had never shot a shotgun before and by the end of the day, they were shooting doubles! Come see what the excitement is all about!

“In October 2009, I was given an opportunity to attend a BOW Multicourse weekend at Wonder Valley Ranch.
I experienced a weekend I will never forget.
I learned firearm safety and was then able to shoot safely and break clays. I had never shot a gun before and learned a lot and had lots of fun doing it. I also learned about cooking outdoors with Dutch ovens. I was amazed how much one can do with just a fire and a Dutch oven. The food was amazing.
I then learned personal self-defense. That gave me a lot of confidence in myself and my ability to protect myself.
I must mention the people – those involved with the organization and those who attended the workshop – they were wonderful, patient people. And, I would definitely attend this workshop again.”
